1960s built BBC Colour Mobile Control Room
Restoration in progress since 2009, regularly taken to classic vehicle shows and exhibitions such as the Media City Manchester Science Fair. Used in several feature films and TV series. Can be driven on the road but low loader only for distances over 50 miles. Period cameras available, with practical monitors inside. Large vision area, production gallery and sound control room all with correct period electronics. Interior shots possible from several positions.
Built 1989, in service from 1990 to 2012. Road legal, exterior colours and logos as from new to early 1990s in BBC service. Completely operational interior, with production gallery, sound and VTR areas. Emergency doors can open to allow shots of confined interior areas. Period cameras etc. available, all practical.
Built 1983, in service until we purchased it in 2004. It is very versatile- can be refitted with graphics to suit the production, in this photo it is in ITN livery for a scene on 'The Crown'. As this model truck was made over a long time with virtually the same cab, it can be used in any period from the 60s to early 2000s. External shots only but interior could be made up to suit if required. Suitable dishes available - can be roof mounted.
A screenshot showing the production gallery and vision area in N3 (From 'Endeavour') showing the depth of shot possible.
Monitors can be practical or as in this case, screen images added in Post.
